Hello! My name is Stacy Notestine. I have worked with moms and babies my entire career, which is nearly 30 years. I am the mom to 4 beautiful children and 1 spunky little granddaughter. I started my career as a labor and delivery nurse in 1991 and went into lactation in 2005. I have worked in lots of different areas; inpatient, outpatient, the clinic, the home setting, and the NICU. I have been an educator teaching families and staff about pregnancy, birth, baby care, and breastfeeding since I was a new grad right out of nursing school. I have training as a certified infant massage therapist, registered yoga teacher, reiki master, and have completed 2 levels of craniosacral therapy.
I most recently resigned from my position as the NICU Lactation Educator at Nationwide Children’s Hospital to expand my private practice, Baby’s Best Beginning, that I founded in 2011. My private practice is active in assisting moms and babies with breastfeeding when things don’t always go as planned. I have a passion for teaching and growing community amongst new moms. I teach a prenatal breastfeeding class, Tummy Time Method & Baby Play Class, and Mom and Baby Yoga. I also facilitate a weekly breastfeeding support group that is called Moms Milk Club where any mom providing breastmilk is welcome.
