A native Minnesotan, Betsy moved to San Diego in 2003 with her husband Parker. She has Bachelor's of Science in Education as well as her Master's Degree in Education and currently teaches Middle School English Language Arts at St. Paul's in Pacific Beach. She enjoys volunteering at her children's schools as well as alongside the Parent Connection, a Scripps Health nonprofit that supports San Diego families.  A member since 2006, she currently helps out as a board member as well as manages the Facebook page.  Betsy lives in La Jolla with her husband Parker and children Sophie, Elsa and Soren. She enjoys taking Pilates and dance classes, reading and spending as much time as she can with her family, preferably at the ocean.

Jackie is a Minnesota native and graduated from The University of Minnesota Duluth with a degree in graphic design and a minor in art.  Almost 10 years ago she made the journey to San Diego and hasn't looked back.  She works as a freelance graphic and web designer at her own company called Direction Designs. She and her husband reside in Chula Vista and have two children, a 3.5 year old boy and a 1 year old girl.  In addition to being a full time mom and business owner, her and her husband are also part owners of Helms Brewing Company is San Diego and she is building her dog sitting business through Rover.  She loves to get to know other moms and take classes to meet new people.  She enjoys working out, being outside with the kids and volunteering with the parent connection, a Scripps Health non-profit that supports families in San Diego.
